It is a wonderful resource with in-depth information on biomedical treatment protocols, lab testing, and even a forum for you to ask questions that you may have on a day to day basis.
This site is a culmination of my years in practice, helping children with Autism and is available for you to access. Commonly used items have Icons that represent them. One icon is for new members and another is for the 12 week action plan. The 12 week action plan is a wonderful springboard for parents just getting started in biomedical treatment for their child with Autism. It sets up the groundwork of a successful program, teaching you how to implement a special diet, get started on lab testing and begin adding in some supplements to help your child progress towards healing.
The health articles area is one of the most actively used areas on my site. I have articles that I have written on supplement reactions, dietary interventions, autoimmune reactions and glutathione therapy. I am constantly adding new articles to this section. I also have other authors who have provided articles like Dr. William Shaw and Julie Matthews submitted information on dietary interventions. The section on biomedical protocols is another area used very frequently. This is a constantly growing section with the biomedical protocols used in my practice. The biomedical protocols are broken down from their physician oriented structure so they are easy to understand and use, and they can even be shared with your child?s doctor.
My biomedical protocol topics range from the anti-candida diet to issues like phenol and salicylate sensitivities and topics like gastrointestinal disorders. This section contains a great deal of information. I have done many lectures over the years and I have broken those down into 5 to 10 minute segments. They cover topics like chronic infections in Autism such as yeast and bacteria, streptococcal infections and PANDAS. I discuss heavy metal toxicity as well as have a whole chapter on the topic of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), what it is, how its done and the benefits and potential side effects. I discuss a lot about the methylation process and also methyl B-12 therapy.
The section titled Dr. Woeller Lectures has various recorded videos I have done over the years. I have instructional videos showing you how to administer things like nasal methyl B-12, describe things like a heavy metal challenge test or even where I discuss common remedies like how to help constipation. If you are not familiar with methyl B-12 therapy, there is a whole section that describes everything about the therapy. It discusses the benefits, side effects, how to administer the injections, even what to expect in terms of syringe size. There is detail information to give to your child?s doctor to obtain a prescription such as what to write to the pharmacy and how to dose it as well as information geared toward parents using it on their child. One goal of mine with my site was to offer parents and caregivers the very unique opportunity to have access to the specialty medications often used in the biomedical Autism community.
I have dealt with many pharmacies over the years and I have three compounding pharmacies profiled on my site for your convenience. They are located all over the country to serve the east coast, west coast and Midwest easily. They are specially trained and know what they are doing in regards to our medications. They even are familiar with the prescription forms I make available to my members. I have a download section where I have lab interpretation guides and also prescription form downloads.
The forms provide your local doctor all they need to know about common biomedical treatments like methyl B-12, transdermal glutathione and low dose naltrexone. The form provides dosing information and just requires your doctor?s signature and to be faxed to one of the compounding pharmacies. There is a section on supplements where I go over what supplements are effective for what issues, like anxiety or inflammation support for example. I also give access to three supplement companies that I recommend, Klaire, New Beginnings and Researched Nutritionals.
One section that is used daily by members is our parent chat forum. I am also frequently on there, 3 or 4 times a day, answering questions or posting topics. It is a place to come and ask questions or to share information with other parents and it has hundreds and hundreds of great posts. There are different subject headings like detoxification therapies, dietary interventions, immune therapies and many, many more. We can even add more categories in the future. I am even answering posts in the evenings, on weekends, even on holidays. This website has become a 24/7 project for me. I love that it connects me with parents and allows me to answer their biomedical Autism treatment questions from all over the country as well as the world.
